I am sure many of you have heard of the Singapore oil spill caused by a collision among a Malaysian tank and a cargo boat.On the news held on 28th May,Friday,(today),it tells us about how the oil spill had affected certain activities scheduled. My main point of telling you this is because the sail for those YOG sailers have been cancelled due to the above mentioned oil spill.Activities on the East Coast were also affected.Business are also affected...

Here is the video of the Cheer Song for the Singapore Youth Olympic Games (YOG) 2010!
Composed and performed by Singapore's very own JJ Lin, it is one of the 3 numbers specially written for Cheer Singapore. Sing it. Shake it. And move with it.
The video is part of the "Cheer Singapore" campaign by the Singapore Sports Council.
(Please switch off the music in this blog first before watching.)

Here is a set of costumes for colombian traditional costumes. It is very unique and special in its very own way.The costumes symbolises the feelings of happiness and joy.The costumes are usually worn for festivals or special occasions.Don't the costumes look great? Why not Singapore create their very own costumes?Won't that be fun?I wish we could.

Here's a dedication to the YOG...
Our sports carnival!!!
There were lots of games to try and win for our house colour!
Here's one example- I, Suffira, is from the house colour,"blue".
Just to let you know,my house won this year.
WOOHOO!
Anyway,we are each given a games card.
Each time we are successful in a certain station,we are given a tick.
Since me and my class helped to host the carnival, let me tell you more about it.
The more games we achieve success in,the more points given to our house.
There are also Inter-House games such as Hurdles (b/g) ,Netball (g) ,Soccer (b) and last but not least,Basketball (b) .
I took part in the hurdles race. Guess what? I won!!!
All it takes was Excellence,Friendship and Respect for others who lost.
Wait a minute...What a coincidence!
Those are the three main pointers for the YOG!
I hope you know them by now.
The sports carnival finale was a blast!
We had a cheering competition and Yellow house won.
Well,at least they showed the three important pointers after a game.
We all shook hands with one another.
The Red house felt better after the Yellow house showed Friendship and Respect. It is not about whether you win at the end or not.Its how you play the game...

Goodness! What a big Sports Unit!
It must have needed a lot of effort to build this!

Wow! Look at the scenery! It's so beautiful!
How I wish I can have a view like that from my bedroom window!

Wow!Look at this cable car! You must have gotten a good view up there!
It looks similar to Singapore's cable cars too!

Doesn't it look magnificent? It must have attracted a lot of tourists!

Wow! The displays of flowers look so unique and colourful!Just right for a special occasion!
